Doreena Casias-Estrada PA-C
Doreena, or “Doreen” as she likes to be addressed, hales from Chicago, Illinois. She has family roots in Colorado and is fluent in Spanish and speaks some Italian. She graduated with Honors from Chicago Cook County Hospital Physician Assistant Program in 1996, and is a Recipient of Two Gold Seals on the National Board of Exams, a Recipient of E.J.Feinhandler M.D. Memorial Scholarship Award and a Recipient of Harold Washington Acedemic Excellence Award. Doreen has clinical training from Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in their Cardiac Thoracic Surgery/Orthopedics departments and from St Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois assisted in their Obstetrics and Gynecology surgery programs for vaginal deliveries and C-Sections.
She also has experience in General surgery and Emergency Medicine from Mt Sinai Hospital and Cook county Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois. Her 13 years of experience, vast knowledge of patient care and bubbly personality are great assets to Columbine Family Practice.
Doreen is happily married with one daughter and enjoys the Colorado Mountains, operas and traveling. She is an educator at heart and enjoys the interaction she has between herself and her patients.
Stacey Josif PA-C
Stacey Josif is a Physician Assistant with interest in working with women and the elderly. She earned her Bachelors degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. She earned her Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and Physician Assistant degree from the University of Toledo. During this time she also earned a graduate certificate in contemporary Gerontological Practice. Stacey has clinical experience in emergency medicine, general surgery and internal medicine from the Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio and pediatrics care from the Toledo Children’s Hospital, Pediatric Emergency Department, also of Toledo, Ohio. With her Family Medicine experience from Family Medical Center of Temperance, Michigan and Obstetrics and Gynecology experience from A Woman’s Answer clinic in Toledo, Ohio,
Stacey brings a wealth of experience to our community here in Littleton. Stacey enjoys all aspects of Family Practice, particularly the opportunity to develop long-term, productive and meaningful relationships with her patients. She is an Ohio native but her love of the outdoors, for skiing, hiking and camping has brought her to Colorado.
Laura Murray PA-C
Laura Murray was born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado. She graduated from Regis University in 1998 with a Bachelor's degree in psychology with a kinesiology minor. In 2003, Laura graduated from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida with a Masters of Medical Science. Among her achievements Laura was awarded "Most Compassionate Caregiver" by her professors. While she was in Florida she gained experience in family medicine, OB/GYN, psychology, general surgery, pediatrics, internal medicine and orthopedics.
Laura came back to Colorado and for the past seven years has been working specifically in family medicine, with a focus on women's health and diabetic training. She has assisted in organizing mid-level continuing medical education sessions offered through the Swedish Medical Center. Laura has worked in occupational health with a focus on orthopedics and neurology. She is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants and the Colorado Academy of Physicians Assistants.
Laura enjoys living and working in Colorado. She is an avid fisher-woman, with a love for the outdoors. She enjoys running, art, working out and playing tennis. She is a wife and mother and is exceptionally blessed with her family every day. She is active in her church community here in Littleton serving on various committees and volunteers for many projects. Her love for patient care and helping others has brought her to Columbine Family Practice where she is excited to continue her vocation as a certified Physician Assistant.
